Trappistes Rochefort 10 pours a dark opaque brown with a tan head, fairly large bubbles. Yeasty aroma with raisin, plum and vinous notes. Its flavour is rich and darkly malty, sweet raisins and plums again, also dates. A full body, slightly oily, with sharp carbonation. A drying finish with warmth through the back of my mouth and throat. This is great, and I look forward to trying it again in a couple of years maybe, after ageing some bottles further.
