It’s two weeks since Gin A Tasting Course came out and the good news is people are loving it!
Reviews are super important for helping a book succeed, particularly early after its publication. This is why I’m banging on about them and asking people to please share one if they liked the book.

Thankfully most people I talk to understand why this matters and want to help. What I’m asked most often is “where’s the best place to do it?”
Here’s a run down of my top three suggestions.
Best places to leave a review
The best place to leave a review is the same place you bought your book. Whether that’s Amazon or a local bookshop, reviews that are linked to purchases matter most.
Next is telling people in person. Word of mouth usually has more impact than posting online.
And third is to leave them where other people go looking for reviews, so sites like GoodReads or LibraryThing.

The direct option
There is one more option. You can leave a review right here.
This is probably most relevant if you’re connected somehow to the drinks industry — or better yet with gin specifically. But if that’s not you, don’t let that put you off!
